We are currently looking for a SEND Teacher to join the Sense Education team. We are looking for Teachers who are passionate about working with young people with SEND. We can offer supply positions and we can also offer long term roles in the same school if you prefer consistency.
The position is to work in small class groups of 5-10 pupils with a team of TAs to support. You will be offered support and training in the role to get to know the pupils and class that you will be working with. As a SEND Teacher you could be working with a number of external professionals and with some state of the art SEND schools.

SEND schools have great facilities such as sensory rooms, soft play areas, hydro pools and outdoor play areas. You could be working alongside therapeutic partners and social workers to ensure the students are receiving the best possible educational outcomes. Safeguarding children is an integral part of what we do and we have a stringent safer recruitment process. We undertake checks on all the candidates we work with. As such we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in Schools. If you do not have a subscription to the DBS Update Service, you may be required to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process. If you take a temporary role with Sense Education you will be paid on a weekly basis.
