We are currently looking for Teaching Assistants, to join our team to work in SEND schools in the Kendal area. We are looking for consistent and supportive TAs, you will work in small class groups, supporting the teacher in delivering personalised lessons that are tailored to the pupils needs. This role requires people who are flexible, communicative and caring. We will consider people with previous TA experience and also people from other industries who are passionate about helping young people with SEND. You could be working with pupils with Autism, Global development delay, SEMH and physical disabilities.

Safeguarding children is an integral part of what we do and we have a stringent safer recruitment process. We undertake checks on all the candidates we work with. As such we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in Schools. If you do not have a subscription to the DBS Update Service, you may be required to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process. If you take a temporary role with Sense Education you will be paid on a weekly basis.
