We are currently looking for an EYFS Teaching Assistant to start in January. We are looking for someone to work in a school with young people with special educational needs. Class sizes are small with 5-10 pupils, a Teacher leading the classes and 3-5 support staff.
We are looking for someone from an EYFS background who can transfer their skills to a SEND classroom, you will be helping pupils reach their learning goals through creative and energetic teaching. The role will require a nurturing approach and those with a keen interest in helping young people with SEND to reach their full potential.

You could be working alongside therapeutic partners and social workers to ensure the students are receiving the best possible educational outcomes. Safeguarding children is an integral part of what we do and we have a stringent safer recruitment process. We undertake checks on all the candidates we work with. As such we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in Schools. If you do not have a subscription to the DBS Update Service, you may be required to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process. If you take a temporary role with Sense Education you will be paid on a weekly basis.
