We have an exciting new position for a Support worker who is interested in working in the Education sector as Classroom Support Assistants. The role is to work with a class of pupils with Autism.
The role is to support the qualified teacher in the classroom in delivering personalised curriculum based on the needs of the pupil. Class sizes are usually around 5-10 pupils depending on the level of needs. There is a team of support staff and external professionals supporting the pupils and families.
Depending on your experience you could be working with primary or secondary aged pupils, we will place you in an environment that you are most effective.

Safeguarding children is an integral part of what we do and we have a stringent safer recruitment process. we undertake checks on all the candidates we work with. As such we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in Schools. If you do not have a subscription to the DBS Update Service, you may be required to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process. If you take a temporary role with Sense Education you will be paid on a weekly basis.
