EYFS Teaching Assistant

We are currently looking for a teaching assistant to work in an EYFS department of a primary school in Carlisle. The position has come about due to an increase in young people with SEND.

The position is to support the class teacher with the additional pupils who are going through analysis for EHCPs. we are looking for someone who has a passion for helping young people with Autism and additional needs.

The ideal person for the role

• Passionate about developing young people through play and creativity
• Ideally a childcare qualification or an Autism qualification
• Willing to create strong relationships with staff, students and care providers
• Passionate about working with young people with SEND
• Great team player adding positivity to the staffing team
• Flexible and reliable

You could be working alongside therapeutic partners and social workers to ensure the students are receiving the best possible educational outcomes.
