Support, Educate and Nurture
Sense education have an inspiring position for a dedicated and passionate teaching assistant. The role is to work in a specialist primary unit with pupils with additional needs. The primary has a large intake of SEN pupils and are looking for an experienced person to help the teacher in delivering lessons that are specific to the pupils learning ability. The school are dynamic and have great facilities for SEND pupils. we will consider people who have been working in education or the care sector with Autism.
You will be supporting pupils with EHCPs or pupils that are going through analysis for an EHCP. Lessons are dynamic, fun and creative.
The ideal person for the role
School hours are 8.30 – 3.30 – we are looking for someone who can work full time but we will also consider part time also. The role is can start immediately but we will also consider people for after the half term break.

Safeguarding children is an integral part of what we do and we have a stringent safer recruitment process. we undertake checks on all the candidates we work with. As such we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in Schools. If you do not have a subscription to the DBS Update Service, you may be required to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process. If you take a temporary role with Sense Education you will be paid on a weekly basis.
