We are looking for a nurturing and proactive Early Years Foundation Stage EYFS Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs in a mainstream school in Penrith. This role is ideal for someone who understands the importance of early intervention and enjoys supporting young children with a variety of SEND, both on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
The role
This role involves working closely with children in Nursery and Reception who require additional support with communication, sensory needs, social interaction and learning development. You will work alongside the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual support strategies and ensure children are fully included in all aspects of EYFS provision.

If you do not have a subscription to the DBS Update Service, you may be required to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process. If you take a temporary role with Sense Education you will be paid on a weekly basis. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position but long term. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available.
